Ghost Treesという楽曲について
「Ghost Trees」は、白銀の世界に佇む樹氷（Ghost Trees）の間を縫うように滑り降りる、バックカントリーでの神秘的な体験を描いた楽曲です。
凍てつく森の静寂、張り詰めた空気、そして自然と一体化する「フロー状態」を、ダンサブルかつ幻想的なビートに乗せて表現しています。単なるウィンタースポーツの描写を超え、山への畏敬の念を感じさせる、まるで儀式のような世界観が魅力です。
特筆すべきは、楽曲中盤に登場する「Mono no aware」というリリックです。これは、移ろいゆく時の一瞬の美しさを愛でる日本の美学「物の哀れ」を指すと同時に、英語の「Aware（気づき）」という響きとの融合も意図されています。「儚い瞬間の美」と「物事への深い気づき（Mono no aware）」。このダブルミーニングにより、一瞬で消えてしまうシュプールの尊さと、極限状態で研ぎ澄まされる精神性が巧みにリンクされています。
自我（Ego）を手放し、ただ直感とリズムに身を委ねる。冬の冷気と共に心に染み渡る、哲学的でスピリチュアルな一曲です。
